Parthenia Barry is a licensed professional counselor and the visionary founder and CEO of Choices for Change. With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, she is deeply committed to helping individuals transform their lives through compassionate, client-centered care.
Parthenia holds a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Gerontology from Southern Nazarene University and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Langston University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Executive Leadership in Mental Health and Human Services, further deepening her expertise and enhancing the impact of her work in the community.
Her clinical background includes individual, couples, and group therapy, with a strong focus on emotional wellness, personal growth, and trauma recovery. Known for her empathetic approach and belief in the power of healing, Parthenia empowers clients to build resilience, discover their inner strength, and create meaningful change..
